The problem
A healthcare software company was paying a large and rising annual licence for a third-party identity product, and years of its platform had been built around it. Replacing authentication on a live system with thousands of daily users is high-risk work, because any mistake is immediately visible to customers.
What we built
An in-house OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect authorisation server, federated with AWS Cognito, that gradually took over from the licensed product. Both systems ran side by side while user groups moved across.
The result
The licence was retired with no downtime, and no user had to reset a password. The company now owns its identity layer and can add new sign-in methods without depending on a vendor.
Why we are telling you this
Projects like this need deep experience in enterprise authentication, and the same senior engineers work on our AI projects. That experience is why our AI systems hold up in production.
