Custom software, built around your business
You have run the same process for years and you know exactly how it works, but no product on the market does it your way. So your team fills the gap with spreadsheets, WhatsApp groups and a lot of copy and paste.
That is where custom software pays for itself.
When custom software is the right answer
- Your process is your advantage, and changing it to fit a product would make you worse at your job.
- You are paying for five different tools and still moving data between them by hand.
- The same task is done manually every day, by someone too expensive to be doing it.
- You want to sell the software, as well as use it.
If an off-the-shelf tool covers 90% of what you need, custom software is the wrong choice. We will tell you on the call and save you the money.
What you get
Software that matches your process
We start by watching how the work is done today, including the shortcuts, the exceptions and the "we always do it this way for that one client" cases. Those details are usually where off-the-shelf products fall short.
One system instead of six
Most of our projects replace a mix of spreadsheets, email chains and half-used tools with one place where the work gets done.
AI where it earns its place
If part of your process involves reading information in one place and typing it into another, we will use AI for that part. We only add AI where it clearly pays off.
Something you can grow
A clean structure, tests on the important parts and documentation you can hand to any developer.
Full ownership
The repository, the cloud account and the data are always yours.

How we build it
- 1
Week 0: understand
Two or three sessions with the people who do the work. The result is a written scope, a data model and a list of what version one will deliberately leave out.
- 2
Weeks 1 and 2: the pilot
We build the most important flow end to end and put it in your hands, so you can judge the approach on working software.
- 3
Week 3 onwards: build
Working software every second Friday. You test it and comment, and we adjust.
- 4
Launch and beyond
We deploy, move your existing data across, train your team and stay close for the first month. Then you choose a full handover or a monthly support plan.
Typical engagements
Every engagement is priced on its scope. You receive a written proposal within 48 hours of our call.
| Engagement | Typical timeline |
|---|---|
| Focused internal tool with one main workflow | 3 to 6 weeks |
| Full business application with several roles and modules | 8 to 16 weeks |
| Enterprise platform or SaaS product with integrations at scale | 4 to 9 months |
Questions people ask
Can you take over software someone else built badly?
Yes. We start with a paid two-day review and give you a written recommendation: fix it, partly rebuild it, or start again. Sometimes starting again is the right call. If so, we will say so even though the quote gets bigger, and we will set out the reasons so you can judge for yourself.
Who owns the code?
You do, from the first commit. The code lives in your GitHub organisation from day one.
What if my requirements change halfway?
That is normal. We quote the change, you approve it and we adjust the plan. Nothing is built or billed without your sign-off.

Not sure yet what you need?
Book a 30-minute call with a senior architect and tell us about the problem. We will explain what it would take to build, roughly what it would cost and whether custom software is the right answer at all.
